Hi, I'm Madelyn Congdon, I am in tenth grade and I am in Kualoa Ranch for NPCS. I will be sharing my experiences day to day with you guys. I understand that I will be working around the farm, working with animals: pigs, turkey, chicken, bunnies, and many more. I will also be working with the plants, harvesting, learning about different plants, and more. I'm very excited to learn about the farm and how to take care of livestock, I am excited to have this experience working in real life conditions and getting up close and seeing these animals and plants around me. I hope I learn a lot and my goal is to be educated in taking care of livestock, working with animals, and learning about different plants. I hope I learn a lot about how this ranch works, how the agricultural system in Hawaii works, and how they take care of their land on Oahu. I also want to know a lot about livestock and I wonder if we will be able to work with horses? I cant wait! I'll update you tomorrow!
